Wall Street banks threw our economy into crisis. Bailing them out cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars. Now, with unemployment at 10 percent, those same Wall Street banks are planning to give six- and even seven-figure bonuses to the executives who created this mess.
It's time to say enough, and send the banks a final notice. Payment is past due on the harm they've done to the economy. Payment is past due on all the ways they've mistreated their customers—from excessive credit card fees to risky mortgages.

Some 57 million workers would join a union if they could. However, as Human Rights Watch has documented, employers routinely harass, coerce, intimidate and stall to block workers' freedom to choose union representation. In fact, every 23 minutes a worker is fired or penalized for supporting a union.

For too long, Wall Street firms, banks, credit card companies, insurers and mortgage companies were allowed to have their way, with no government oversight. Now taxpayers are picking up the tab for the risks taken on Wall Street.
Congress needs to hear from us that enough is enough. Tell lawmakers to pass legislation demanding that Wall Street stops lying about the risky investments and stealing by covering up fraud, and ensuring the pensions of working families are protected. Wall Street must play by the rules.
